2024 Wait Vineyard Grenache: located near the top of Blewitt Springs. Harvested on the 19^th of March 2024. Interestingly the grapes from this vineyard had very little colour in 2024. Normally the Grenache from this vineyard gives more colour than others, but that is what the vineyard gave us in 2024. The Wait vineyard is pretty much right at the top of Blewitt Springs (about 210m) and is kind of a loamy/sandy very poor soil, with really small vines and not much canopy. The vines definitely struggle up there, which is one of the keys to making great Grenache. 800 bottles produced.
